The short version: Billsmith makes your invoice inside your own browser. Your invoices, your clients, your prices and your bank details are never sent to us, so we cannot see them, lose them or sell them.

Who we are

Billsmith is made by Jordan Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17358646. We are responsible for this website.

What stays on your device

When you fill in the invoice generator, everything you type is kept in your browser's own storage on your device, so your business details are already there next time. The PDF is built on your device too. None of it leaves your device unless you send the PDF to someone yourself.

To remove it, press "Clear everything" under the form, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

What we count

We count how many people visit each page and how many PDFs are downloaded, using Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and never sees anything you type into the form. We use these totals to understand whether the site is useful.

What our host keeps

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the service secure and working. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Billsmith sets no cookies.

Your rights

Because we do not receive your invoice details, there is no personal data of yours in our hands to access, correct or delete. Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
