Terms

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the free invoice generator at billsmith.app. By using it you agree to them.

Who provides it

Billsmith is provided by Jordan Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17358646.

Using the generator

The generator is free. You can make as many invoices, quotes and estimates as you like, for your own business. Each PDF it makes carries a small line at the bottom saying it was made with Billsmith.

Your invoices are yours

You own everything you put into an invoice and every PDF you make. You are responsible for what your invoices say, including your prices, your client details and your tax.

Tax calculations

The VAT, CIS, reverse charge and sales tax sums follow the rules and worked examples published by HMRC and other official sources, and every calculation is tested against them. They are a tool, not tax advice. Check anything unusual with your accountant.

Availability

We work to keep the site available and correct, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, because the generator is free, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost business arising from your use of it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
